    The first Acetone record goes from garage punk in "Pinch" and "Chills" to a Velvet Underground cover "Come On" is almost exactly VU's "Ocean". Then Acetone finds its own unique style on tracks like "Barefoot on Sunday", "No Need Swim" and the epic "Louise" Their voice is subtle but far from boring/5(5).

    Being their first proper LP, Cindy sounds really rough and some tracks has kind of a post-grunge feel,which they soon grew out of. There are rough gems like Come On, Pinch, and Louise points towards their much greater, sadder, slower and much more beautiful music they perfected on 3rd album and magnum opus, Acetone.

    Throughout their career they released a number of records, including "Cindy" (), "I Guess I Would" () and "York Blvd." (). Tragedy struck, however, when bassist/lead singer Richie Lee killed himself on July 23, , shortly after the release of "York Blvd." and thus the band was no more.
